AUTUMN STATION MASSES: COUNTRY STATIONS: Tuesday 20th October @ 7.30pm: In Taur – Taur, Glenamuckla & Glountane McElligott. Friday 23rd October @8pm: The Island and Liscongil at the home of Josephine O’ Keeffe. Tuesday 27th October @ 7.30pm: Mountkeeffe and Knockduff at the home of Tom & Mary Cussen. Friday 20th November @ 8pm: Gooseberry Hill, Meenishal & Barleyhill Lower at the home of Michael & Olive O’Flynn. Friday 27th November @ 8pm: Clonfert , Curraduff, Castlemcauliffe & Lisdangan East at the home of Sheila O’Sullivan.

HOLY SOULS MONTH: Sunday 1st November – Feast of All Saints. Vigil Mass @ 7.30pm. Mass @10am in Taur & 11.30am in Newmarket. Also, the annual November visit to Clonfert cemetery will be at 3pm. All parishioners are invited to attend. Please inform family members now living outside of the parish who would like to attend. Also, Rosary in Taur cemetery after 10am mass. Monday 2nd November – Mass for the commemoration of all the faithful departed. Mass @ 9am in Taur & in Newmarket @ 10am. Parishioners are invited to submit a full list of their deceased family members in the envelopes provided in the porch or on the altar rails. The 9am Mass in Taur and 10am in Newmarket will be offered on each First Friday for the next 12 months. Friday 13th November - Remembrance mass for those who died over the past 12 months will be offered in St. Mary’s Church. During the mass a family member will be invited to come forward to light a memorial candle. If a member of your family died outside the parish and you would like them included please contact the Parish Office on 029-22679.

NEWMARKET CHRISTMAS FAIR:  Will be held on Sunday 8th November from 12pm to 5pm at the Hi Land. Contact Jane on 029-60661 to book a stand.

THANK YOU : To everyone who supported and volunteered at the recent Scrap Metal collection. The great support will help raise funds for the local GAA.

CRIME PREVENTION SEMINAR: Will be held in the James O’ Keeffe Institute on Tuesday 3rd November at 7.30pm with Sgt. John Kelly & Diarmuid Cronin Community Alert Officer in attendance. Contact 029-60633.

AFTERNOON TEA PARTY: In aid of Marymount Hospice and the Irish Cancer Society will be held in Glash Community centre on Sunday 25th October from 2pm to 6pm. Donations greatly appreciated.

SECRET GARDEN: Will celebrate all things apple on annual Apple Day, Sunday 18th October from 1-5pm. All welcome. www.thesecretgardener.com
