Wedding: Congratulations to John O’ Hara and Denise Guiney who were married recently.

FIRST FRIDAY: Next Friday 6th November is First Friday. Both morning masses, Taur at 9am and Newmarket at 10am will be offered as November masses for the dead. The sick of the parish will be visited on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday next week.

ST. PIO OF PIETRELCINA MASS: Will be celebrated in Lismire Church on Wednesday 4th November at 8pm. All welcome.

AUTUMN COUNTRY STATIONS MASSES: Friday 20th November @ 8pm: Gooseberry Hill, Meenishal & Barleyhill Lower at the home of Michael & Olive O’Flynn. Friday 27th November @ 8pm: Clonfert, Curraduff, Castlemcauliffe & Lisdangan East at the home of Sheila O’Sullivan.

HOLY SOULS MONTH: Sunday 1st November – Feast of All Saints. Vigil Mass @ 7.30pm. Mass @10am in Taur & 11.30am in Newmarket. Also, the annual November visit to Clonfert cemetery will be at 3pm. All parishioners are invited to attend. Please inform family members now living outside of the parish who would like to attend. Also, Rosary in Taur cemetery after 10am mass. Monday 2nd November – Mass for the commemoration of all the faithful departed. Mass @ 9am in Taur & in Newmarket @ 10am. Parishioners are invited to submit a full list of their deceased family members in the envelopes provided in the porch or on the altar rails. The 9am Mass in Taur and 10am in Newmarket will be offered on each First Friday for the next 12 months. Friday 13th November – Remembrance mass for those who died over the past 12 months will be offered in St. Mary’s Church at 7.30pm. During the mass a family member will be invited to come forward to light a memorial candle. If a member of your family died outside the parish and you would like them included please contact the Parish Office on 029-22679.

THANK YOU MASS: Sr. Maureen will leave the parish in November. To mark the occasion a mass will be celebrated on Friday 13th November at 10am in St. Mary’s. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the sacristy. All welcome.

YOUTH CHOIR: Practice will be held on Thursday 5th November at 7pm and they will sing at mass on Saturday 7th Nov. @ 7.30pm.

DALGAN PARK MASS: Will be transmitted at 10am on 1st November on RTE. Maura Ni Duibhir has been commissioned to compose the music for this mass by the Columban Sisters.

PAINT IT PINK: The organizers of the Pink Ribbon Day held recently would like to thank all who donated and volunteered at their collection and the businesses where the collections took place.  A total of €2,615 was collected.
