SHORT BUT SWEET: A big-time sports fan was watching a football match with his grandchildren. He had just turned 75 and was feeling a little wistful. “You know,” he said to his grandson, “it’s not easy getting old. I guess I’m in the second half now.” Don’t worry, Grandpa,” Nick said cheerily. “Maybe you’ll go into overtime!”
ONE SENTENCE SERMON: It’s better to lose one minute in life – than to lose your life in one minute !

SOME THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK:
“It is wise to direct your anger towards problems, not people; and to focus your energies on answers, not excuses.” William AWard
“Words are like arrows. Once loosed, you cannot call them back.” George R. Martin
“Be kind. Be friendly. Be likable. But don’t worry if somebody doesn’t like you. You won’t be everybody’s cup of tea, and that’s okay. You can be somebody’s cup of coffee, instead, and coffee is awesome.” L.R. Knost
“Criticism, like rain, should be gentle enough to nourish a man’s growth without destroying his roots.” Frank A. Clark
“I like video games, but they’re really violent. I’d like to play a video game where you help the people who were shot in all the other games. It’d be called ‘Really Busy Hospital’” Demetri Martin
